Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking vehicle rental services or tour packages with DRK Travels.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and DRK Travels. By booking any vehicle rental, outstation cab, or customized holiday package through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or direct office, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
All vehicle rentals and outstation transfers operate under the following guidelines:
  • Kilometer Calculation: Kilometers and garage time calculations start and end from our dispatch center unless explicitly specified in your confirmation voucher.
  • AC Usage Policy: In hilly or ghat terrains, air conditioning (AC) will be switched off temporarily to prevent engine strain and ensure driving safety.
  • Seating Capacity: The number of passengers must strictly adhere to the vehicle's licensed seating capacity as mandated by transport authorities.
  • Driver Rest: For outstation journeys, drivers must be given adequate rest between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM unless overnight travel is agreed upon in advance.
  • Inclusions & Exclusions: Each tour package listing clearly defines all included amenities (such as vehicle transport, accommodation, and specified meals) and exclusions (such as personal expenses, entry tickets, and unmentioned meals).
  • Itinerary Adjustments: DRK Travels reserves the right to adjust routes or visiting sequences due to weather conditions, road closures, traffic restrictions, or monument closure days.
  • Hotel Policies: Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings apply as per hotel partner rules. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel charges.
Unless quoted as an "All-Inclusive Package" in writing:
  • Toll plaza fees, parking tickets, and interstate border entry permits are payable directly by the customer on actuals during travel.
  • Driver bata / overnight allowances for outstation trips are billed according to standard tariff terms communicated prior to booking.
  • Advance Deposit: A minimum token advance is required to confirm vehicle availability and tour package hotel bookings.
  • Balance Settlement: The remaining balance must be paid before or upon commencement of the trip, or as stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Payment Methods: We accept UPI, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, and Cash payments. Official receipts are issued for all transactions.
  • Vehicle Rentals: Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund minus nominal processing charges. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a partial cancellation fee.
  • Tour Packages: Cancellations made 7 or more days before departure qualify for a refund subject to hotel and transport cancellation deductions. Cancellations within 48 hours of travel are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
  • All travelers must carry valid government-issued photo identity cards (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID) during the journey.
  • Zero Tolerance: Smoking, consuming alcohol, and carrying hazardous or illegal contraband inside any DRK Travels vehicle is strictly forbidden.
  • Passengers must respect drivers, guides, and local residents. Misbehavior or abusive conduct may result in immediate trip termination without refund.
In the rare event of a mechanical breakdown, DRK Travels will arrange an alternative replacement vehicle at the earliest feasible time. We are not responsible for delays caused by natural disasters, roadblocks, severe weather, strikes, political events, or other situations outside reasonable control.
Passengers are solely responsible for their personal luggage, cash, electronics, and valuable items. DRK Travels and our drivers are not liable for misplaced, forgotten, or damaged articles during the trip.
